We are so excited to travel again as Thailand already allowed locals and Expats to travel again around Thailand as long as we are not in risky places. I really wanted to travel outside Pattaya or farther away from Pattaya but I still felt hesitant and I felt anxious about travelling again. So we decided to take things slowly and travel to the nearest place first, we went to Kho Larn Island, cuz I heard there are new cafes in Koh Larn that are so interesting to visit.
Kho Larn Island or Coral Island is the nearest Island in Pattaya it will just take 45 minutes of ferry travel from Pattaya to the Island. I've already made Blog post about Kho Larn, you may visit the links below:

THE NEW NORMAL OF TRAVELING IN THAILAND
Please be reminded that Thailand is very strict in implementing safety and health protocols for travelling. Make sure to have the Morchana app, wear a face mask all the time and proper handwashing or bringing your own alcohol.
When you are visiting places around Thailand including Kho Larn Island, they will check your temperature and you need to scan the given QR code in the Morchana app and of course, you have to wear your face mask all the time.
We took the ferry from Bali Hai Pier for only 30 THB and when we arrived in Kho Larn we rented a motorbike for a day for 250 THB.
1. Sea you again Kho Larn: The first café that we visited is a unique café that is not like any others. Their café theme is like comic 3D art everything in the café is painted even their food tray. I honestly like their 3D theme, so minimal and clean. I'm not sure if the owner's spent a lot with his/her café décor but I guessed he/she saved a lot instead of buying decors and flowers they just painted the decors on the walls like 3D painting, this is honestly wise in terms of cost containment but at the same time a unique idea. Their staff are so lovely as well, they are really hospitable and friendly. We ordered one mango smoothie and one burger, the burger really tastes good, the beef patty is so tender. I also adore their burger bun it is so fresh and soft. The mango smoothie is flavorful, not too sweet and not too bland, they really use the real mango fruit and not syrup. The most exciting part of Sea you Again Café is that they have a cute, furry and big cat. I'm not really sure if the gender is he or she but I'll just assume (hope I'm right) that she is a she. Overall, I highly recommend visiting Sea you Again in Kho Larn because it is really worthy to visit and I think the café is a perfect laidback place during the afternoon.

Indigo Café - This is a wise decision that we visited Indigo Café after the first one because the place is just small and they have just limited options on their menu. Indigo Café is located in Rimtalay resort, the café itself is not spacious I think they can only accommodate 6 groups of people. I like the interior design because of their glass wall it makes the indoor breathable, airy and good lighting. Most of their drinks are different kinds of coffee, teas, mocktails and cocktails. I haven't seen that they offer fruit juices or smoothies, during this time the sun is so up and all I wanted is a fresh fruit juice or any drinks that are not coffee or tea, however, since they don't have juices we ordered the closest one green milk tea. The only thing that we enjoyed the most at Indigo Café is their high stairs if you are afraid of heights I suggest not to risk. It really looks so easy to step on it going up but when you are almost at the top the stairs are starting to get shaky. Scary! but If you have the will to get that perfect Instagram photo then claim it girl! After millions of poses, we then head out to the next and last café for lunch.
3. Fat Submarine Café & Restaurant - Perfect decision that we visited Fat Submarine Café & Restaurant last and for lunch. The restaurant is just in front of the beach inside the market in Kho Larn, it looks so small outside but when you go inside it is so wide and very spacious. I honestly love the vibe, the perfect place to settle down after a tiring day travelling around Kho Larn with the sun so hot. The restaurant is divided into 4 sections, they have a Bali vibe indoor, alfresco facing the ocean, garden area facing the ocean as well and 2nd floor. We seated at the alfresco, the ocean breeze is so refreshing, so calming and so relaxing. Fat Submarine Café & Restaurant is definitely worth to visit. Their foods are quite expensive but it's really mouthwatering. We ordered crispy pork and rice topped with egg, another rice mixed with fish and pasta ( I do apologize as I forgot the correct name of these foods). My favorite dish is the crispy pork, it is so appetizing, the taste is not too sweet but it's really crispy. Aside from the best atmosphere and good food, the staff are very kind and helpful as well. When we billed out and get out of the place, we experienced difficulties in turning on the motorbike engine that we rented. It doesn't start no matter what my boyfriend does, there is still gasoline and it seems like it took us 5 minutes to figure out what is wrong. Luckily the staff of the restaurant willingly helped us and finding out that you have to keep the motorbike foot stand before the engine will turn on. It's funny that we've been driving for a half-day already and we didn't notice this. Anyways! problem is solved. If you are visiting Kho Larn and looking for a place to have lunch or dinner I highly recommend Fat Submarine Cafe & Restaurant.

I am very inspired by the Thai because even in the given situation they still managed to be strong and keep their business running. There are many establishments that shutdowns or declared bankruptcy but there are still some of them who still fight their business and livelihood.
