Surprising Benefits of Hyaluronic acid

I had been obsessed with Rejuvenating set these past few months, and it made me worried one day that if I peel-off every single time what would happen to my skin? I don't like the answer that's been running around my head. So I decided to make a routine for my skincare, I'll do my rejuvenating once a month then normal daily skincare. And the next problem I encounter is that what skincare products should I use? It's been a long time that I haven't used other skincare aside from my rejuvenating sets. Then I did my research on what's hot and what's not nowadays for skincare. Then suddenly I remember that Kylie Jenner had been obsessed with Hyaluronic acid.

What is Hyaluronic acid? It is also known as hyaluronan that is naturally produced by our own body. It is commonly found in our skin and retains water to keep our tissues well lubricated and moist. We don't like dry skin we want healthy, young-looking skin. So I immediately bought a Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Mini and it has Hyaluronic acid, Dear Klairs Preparation Facial Toner, Baby Bright Aloe Vera & Fresh Collagen Eye Roller Serum, and Himalaya Lip Balm. Before I get into my personal review with these products. Let me share with you first loves the Benefits that you can get from Hyaluronic acid.

1. Hyaluronic acid is already in our skin, however, the more we aged and the more we are exposed to ultraviolet radiation the lesser amount of Hyaluronic acid in our skin. That's why applying Hyaluronic acid products helps to maintain the moisture in our skin that becomes healthier, supple, and hydrated. Hydrated skin reduces wrinkles, redness, and dermatitis.

2. Research says that "hyaluronic acid also has antioxidant properties, which means it can act as a shield against free radicals we aren't in control of, like pollution and other aggressors." -- Elle

Now let's dive into my recent skincare purchased.

1. Dear Klairs Preparation Facial Toner - Dear Klairs is a Korean skincare product that claims to balance pH levels; give deep moisturizing; clean and soothes, and vegan friendly. It smells like herbal essential oils but not annoying or irritating. The texture is watery and runny and easily absorbed in the skin. Since it is a toner, I used it after I wash my face, It hydrates my skin giving me a supple and soothing effect after it absorbs to my skin.

2.  Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Mini - claims to instantly boost skin's hydration and over time amplifies the skin's natural ability to self - hydrate. The smell is like a baby lotion and the texture is in between gel and water. I used Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Mini after my toner and it absorbs quickly leaving me a matte hydrating finish and I like that it doesn't make my skin greasy. The consistency is thin, runny, and translucent. One thing that really hooked me up with this Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Mini is that it has hydrating hyaluronic acid that I'm really into nowadays in my skincare regimen. I can see that my face becomes glowy and hydrating and not dry.

3. Baby Bright Aloe Vera & Fresh Collagen Eye Roller Serum - I've been using eye cream, serums, eye mask a long time ago and I stop because I get tired of waiting and my puffy dark eyes are still the same. But as I grew older I suddenly noticed that my eyes really look like Panda eyes (Lol!) and my wrinkles are starting to show off. Which is a BIG NO NO! to me. I know it's part of growing up and aging but if you can slow it down then do what is needed to be done. So I found my way back to my eye skincare, I'm not quite sure what kind of eye cream or serum should I use. However, I found the Baby Bright Aloe Vera & Fresh Collagen Eye Roller Serum, and Aloe Vera is also known for improving skin and prevent wrinkles, so I bought it. Baby Bright Aloe Vera & Fresh Collagen Eye Roller Serum is an eye-roller as the name says, the texture is translucent water and runny, it has no smell and it doesn't absorb easily. I've been using the eye serum for weeks already and I can see a little difference from my puffy dark eyes before, it became lighter and fresh. I'm not that really satisfied with Baby Bright Aloe Vera & Fresh Collagen Eye Roller Serum, maybe after I finish the product I will try another brand. Comment down below if you have any other recommendations.

4. Himalaya Lip Balm - When it comes to dry lips, I'm really guilty. When I'm in cold places my lips become so dry and chapped. Maybe one of the reasons for this is that I'm not a water drinker before, I just recently practice finishing 1 Liter of water a day. So, I decided to start taking care of my lips, and then I found this Himalaya Lip Balm. It has wheat germ oil and carrot seed oil and helps to nourish dry and chapped lips which I badly needed. It smells like candy, and the texture is creamy white. I usually applied it before I sleep so when I wake up my lips are not chapped and smooth and plump. I applied it also when I go to work because our office is so cold and my lips cannot handle the coldness in our office, it moisturizes my lips leaving no dryness in my entire day.

And that's it loves my new skincare products for the year 2021 and how I'm currently obsessed with Hyaluronic acid. One thing that I will advise my 15-year-old self is to start taking care of your skin and try skincare products that are appropriate to your skin and age. This really helps you when you get older. Kryz Uy Young says in one of their Skypodcast that she started using skincare products at a young age that's why her skin still looks good and she still looks young even if she's an adult now. I highly advise you to start investing in Hyaluronic acid because it really helps to maintain that hydration and moisture in your skin, because as we get older our skin slowly stops producing its hyaluronan.
